Dave has consulted on our comprehensive renovation project from the early stages right through until completion. He has the advantage of being able to provide strategic high-level guidance as well as practical and technical building advice. Dave has a thorough understanding of council processes and requirements which meant that there was efficiency, both in terms of time and money, in the consent process. Dave’s time in the industry and excellent reputation have allowed him to develop a network of reliable sub trades. Because Dave is so well respected we often had priority access to trades. I really valued Dave’s attention to detail. His hands on approach to managing trades meant that care for completed aspects of the project was always a priority. Dave has always been available in person and on the phone at all stages of the project and often outside of regular business hours. Dave has been instrumental in the success of the project and we wouldn’t consider embarking on another project without his involvement.

Dave was the foreman on our reclad and renovation. It was a complex project requiring a high level of both technical skill and practical “can do” mentality. Building projects are always stressful, expensive and take longer than one hoped. Dave always took the time to listen to us and to find ways of accommodating our requests and was an effective “ bridge” between us and all others involved in the project. He proposed many thoughtful solutions and improvements that added significant value to the project. He was always ‘available’ and ready to discuss ideas or concerns. When being firm with the builders was required, he was firm but always considered, polite and respectful. In turn he had the respect from all those who worked on our renovation. If you need someone you can rely on and trust to get the job done, Dave is the person for you.

Dave provided the project management and expert oversight with our home renovation, converting a garage into a 4th bedroom with en-suite. He coordinated plumbers, and builders to ensure we met building standards, while keeping us informed so we could meet our budget. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone who wants both quality but can communicate clearly.

We are a DIY couple but needed some expert advice on some bathroom renovations. Dave was able to provide that in plain English which helped us continue with our renos and we had the comfort of knowing we had an LBP behind us.
